Luckily, the gun, camera, etc. were in the other vehicle. My gut told me to park it on the corner in plain sight.

Around here they are using cordless drills to break into cars in broad daylight. They get people who go out to lunch at some higher end place like Fridays or Cheesecake factory and leave their laptop and electronics in the car.
